Hawwa Pullo Gombe: A Leading Voice of Contemporary Fulani Music

Hauwa Yar Fulani, popularly known as Hawwa Pullo Gombe, is one of Nigeria’s most celebrated female Fulani singers. She performs in both her native Pulaar/Fulfulde and Hausa, allowing her music to reach a wide audience across Nigeria and beyond. Through her distinctive voice and her commitment to promoting Fulani language and culture, she has become one of the most recognizable female artists in the contemporary Fulani music scene.
